Day 2 feels like a little bit of a cop-out, but it’s something I’ve been putting off for awhile.

I have a few instruments at my house like a keyboard, guitar, and thumb piano. I also have a couple of fun instruments made by a company named Artiphon. I possess an Instrument 1 and an Orba. These tools are pretty powerful because they’re fun and can be used a lot of different ways. Both are electronic and easy to use with existing Digital Audio Workstations.

Again, this feels like a cop-out because today’s creation is a little over a minute of strumming with the Instrument One recorded through BandLab.

It’s a lot better than “I made a bowl of cereal, here is a photo.” I’ll save that one for a bad day.

But this is one that I’ve put off for awhile. I’ll often use the Instrument 1 for personal strumming without creating a record that it happened. It feels nice to create a hard copy of one of these sessions.

Artiphon is seriously a really cool company though. Their stated goal is to “make beginners feel like pros and pros feel like their beginners.” I can vouch for the first part. The instruments from them that I’ve used have been a lot of fun to play around with.
