Comics are enjoyable to draw. They feel freeing and without pressure to draw. I’m a big fan of manga, and a weekly reader of a few different publications. The style and storylines feel unique. Seeing them animated is a great time as well.

Today’s creation is something I’ve done a couple of times before. I’ll take the phrase from a fortune cookie and draw it as a single frame comic. Kind of like Gary Larson!

The lesson from this one is to be less heavy-handed with the pencil, and to get paper that isn’t from a notebook. Maybe improve my handwriting a little as well… (It reads, “You have a fine capacity for the enjoyment of life.”)
