This is a watercolor painting I created today. I saw a beautiful shade of red as the sun was setting, and wanted to capture it. My phone camera usually doesn’t do sunsets justice, so I thought watercolor would be nice.

The mental image I had didn’t translate well into a sensible landscape. The sky is kind of, not very immersive.

But watercolor is enjoyable. There’s a lot of ways to get better at the technique. I personally like ruining my brushes by attempting impressionism.
