I was pretty uninspired today. I made this print that looks like a ball bearing that would print in place. Unfortunately, even after altering this bearing a few times, none have decided to function as a bearing.

I learned with this one that just knowing what certain tools look like doesn’t mean it’ll print. The same was with the gliders. Other times, simply seeing an object and understanding what it looks like allows me to make it easily like articulated joints, and the cone-shaped bearings on the gyro spinners I’ve made.

Working on tolerance and understanding the components of these tools will help. Today was frustrating.
